Who Let the Dogs Out

Since I had nothing better to do, I dragged two of my friends to the Dog Show organized by the Kennel Club of Pakistan, opposite Bilawal house. Their initial reaction was, kya tumhai kuttai dekhnai gana hai, but we ended up having a good time. From there we headed off to Flamingo for some Strawberry shake, then went and sat at Indulge for a while thinking about what to do next. Ended up going for a game of bowling, which by the way I won :D
Having built up a bit of an appetite by now we grabbed ourselves a Shawarma each from this new place a friend of mine discovered, I think its called Shawarma House, since they have no seating arrangement we went and sat at Seaview. Reached home late with the ice cream my parents had asked me to pick up from Baloch, but they had already gone to bed. Oh well, they can have it tomorrow.

Haleem Party

Posted by Hello

Went to a Haleem party at a friends place last night. Started cooking at around midnight and it was ready by about five in the morning. Turned out quite well. Played one tip (a form of cricket in which a batsman is out even if the fielder catches the ball after a single bounce), sang songs, danced, reminiscing about school days and told dirty jokes. Bottom line, had loads of fun, got home at seven and slept all day.

Where do babies come from?

This is the gist of a conversation I had with my parents when I was about 7 or 8. We were having breakfast as far as i can remember and it was probably a sunday morning, since both my parents were there.

Me: Where do babies come from?
Parent: *stunned, look at each other*...what?
Me: Where did I come from?
Parent: Allah mia(God) sent you
Me: But how, how did i get here?
Parent: ummm...from mommies stomach
Me: How did I get in there?
Parent: You were always there
Me: So how did i know when to come out?
Parent: uummm....mommy had to take some medicine
Me: Oh...so what would happen if someone who is not married takes this medicine or a man takes this medicine.
Parent: *shocked*...eat your breakfast

Don't ask me how i remember all this...i just do, so anyways for the next few years thats how I thought babies were made and would proudly spread my knowledge to my friends as well until one day a cousin of mine who studied in the American School asked me

Cousin: You know how babies are made?
Me: Yes, mommies have to take some medicine
Cousin: *laughing his ass off*...who told you that?
Me: mommy daddy told me.
Cousin: *still trying to contain his laughter*...thats now how they are made (and he went on to enlighten me)
Me: HUH!!!

In case you are wondering what made me write about this, well i caught an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond last night in which he was giving his daughter the sex talk so that brought back a few memories. Anybody curious about the best way to deal with such question check out this site

Too close for comfort

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Went to Black Fish last night and then to Karachi Broast for dinner. On the way home, close to midnight, the above happened. I have no idea how that car managed to stop, I was just waiting for the end.

Things to do

Go to the hardware store ... buy a rope ... go home ... take stool into the room ... place it under the fan ... get onto the stool ... make a loop at one end of the rope ... tie the other end to the fan ... stare through the loop ..........
