Visit to the Mall
Went to the mall today to pick up a few things. The place was huge and pretty crowded, considering it was a weekday and that too during office hrs, you would think people here don't have jobs and at the same time a lot to spend.
I figured out what i'm gonna do for food...McDonalds!!! Bye Bye savings.
By the way, Singaporean women are cute.
Singapore - Day 1
It takes an hour to change a plane's tyre. I learnt that since my flight today was delayed by an hour because there was less air in one of the tyres and it had to be replaced. So we landed at 5pm Singapore time and my sis was at the airport to pick me up. I gotta mention here that the loo at the airport is really hi-tech. The urinal flushes on its own and you just place your hand under the tap and the water starts automatically. Its magic I tell you.
Anyways, so we got home, I took a shower and went for dinner, not a pleasant experience, the food here stinks. I gotta learn how to cook or i'll have to survive on milk and sandwiches or something.

The Trip
Got back from the trip on the 16th, over all it was very relaxed and laid back, we were unable to go to Naran/Kaghan as planned since my sis fell ill at Shogran, so we stayed there an extra day and returned to Rawalpindi a day early. The scenery was breath taking at Shogran and Bhurban. Bhurban was a bit crowded since it was the weekend and people tend to drive up from Islamabad. The only event worth mentioning is the time I almost fell out the cab when the door swung open on a turn. It was only then did the driver inform me that the door tends to do that unless it is locked.

On the way back from Shogran

Kunhar River

Khanpur Dam

Taxila Museum

London 2012 Olympics
So its finally been decided that London is going to host the 2012 Olympics. I wonder where I'll be and what I'll be doing 7 years from now in 2012. Will probably have stopped blogging by then.
Swimming
I went to KC for a swim today after a really long time. Want to make it a daily routine while i'm here, try and get into shape before I leave.
